Have you ever wondered how yarn is made and how ancient people produced their textiles?
What kinds of textiles did they make?
Come and have a go at spinning your own yummy yarn and learn about how our ancestors spun thread and yarn using a hand spindle.
There will also be spinning wheel demonstrations and lots of information about how fleece is processed, the tools that are used, and all about our local breeds of sheep.
