Chefs Demonstration Kitchen

The popular Totnes Show demonstration kitchen, will feature a line-up of talented chefs,
all passionate about local ingredients that the South Devon larder has to offer

It’s located at one end of the Food & Drink Village, so come and be entertained and
inspired about what you could cook up with some delicious local produce

9.30 am Olly Lee, owner of How Now Dairy

Olly Lee will be giving an entertaining talk about of life on the farm, environmentally friendly
farming methods and about his delivery rounds

10.15 am David Wells, South Devon College

David’s demonstration will be smoked duck with a port jus served with roasted orange beetroot and truffle mash

11.15 am Mark Brankin, Executive Chef of the Pig and Whistle Group

Mark Brankin will be demonstrating rack of lamb with minted pesto crust,
pommes Anna potatoes, stuffed courgette flower with a cherry tomato jus

12.15 pm Harrison Brockington, Chef Patron of Gather Restauant, Totnes

Gather kitchen will be showcasing dishes using locally sourced and wild foraged ingredients
Forager David Beazley will be joining Harrison on the stage for his demonstration
of wild rabbit dish with foraged greens and a mussel, cider and sea vegetable dish

1.30pm Chris Sherville Private Catering

Chris will be demonstrating three dishes with one of South Devon's most notable products: 
Fresh Brixham crab. Crab imperial gratin, crab risotto and crab arancini.

10.15 am David Wells, South Devon College

For his second appearance David will be demonstrating poached plaice with a white wine sauce
