PLEASE NOTE: JUDGING OF SHEEP CLASSES COMMENCES AT 10.00am.
A Perpetual
Challenge Cup
presented by Mr. Anthony Steen will be presented at Kingsbridge Show
in
September to the Exhibitor gaining the most points in the Sheep Classes
at the three Agricultural Shows
of
Yealmpton, Totnes and Kingsbridge during the season. First
will be awarded 3 points,

awarded 2 points and third awarded 1 point for each class.

SERVICE AWARD – An inscribed tankard to be presented on Show Day
The following conditions apply:-
a) An entrant for the 25 years
award must be engaged in full time agricultural work on 31st
July 2008 in the former Totnes Rural District or Borough of Totnes areas
b) An entrant for the 40 years
award must have been engaged in full time agricultural work 40 years
agricultural work during the year 31st July 2007 and 31st
July 2008 in the former Totnes Rural District or Borough of Totnes areas.
c) The entrants must have been
engaged in continuous full time work either (1) with the same bona-fide farmer
or his son/daughter on any farm, or (2) on the same farm irrespective of the
employer providing always that (a) above is complied with. Previous
recipients are not eligible to compete.
Show secretary to be provided with
full details of recipients by date of entries closing.
CLOSING DATE – 13TH
JULY
Only shearers entering by the above date will be guaranteed a shear.
